چکیده
Abstract In this article, we derive an adjoint fluid-structure interaction (FSI) system in arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) framework, based upon a one-field finite element method. A key feature of approach is that the interface condition automatically satisfied and problem size reduced since only solve for one velocity field both primary system. (and/or displacement)-matching optimisation considered by controlling distributed force. The solved using gradient descent method, stabilised Barzilai-Borwein method adopted to accelerate convergence, which does not need additional evaluations objective functional. proposed control validated assessed against series static dynamic benchmark FSI problems, before being applied successfully highly challenging problem.

Analysis of a time-dependent fluid-structure interaction problem in an optimal control framework over a single time-step
Fluid-structure interaction simulation presents many computational difficulties, particularly when the densities of the fluid and structure are close. A previous report [20] has suggested that recasting the FSI problem in the context of optimal control may significantly reduce computation time. This report introduces a Neumann type control along with detailed analysis for the stability and exis...
متن کاملA Method for Solving Optimal Control Problems Using Genetic Programming
This paper deals with a novel method for solving optimal control problems based on genetic programming. This approach produces some trial solutions and seeks the best of them. If the solution cannot be expressed in a closed analytical form then our method produces an approximation with a controlled level of accuracy. Using numerical examples, we will demonstrate how to use the results.

In this research we used forward-backward sweep method(FBSM) in order to solve optimal control problems. In this paper, one hybrid method based on ERK method of order 4 and 5 are proposed for the numerical approximation of the OCP. The convergence of the new method has been proved .This method indicate more accurate numerical results compared with those of ERK method of order 4 and 5 for solvin...
متن کاملAn application of differential transform method for solving nonlinear optimal control problems
In this paper, we present a capable algorithm for solving a class of nonlinear optimal control problems (OCP's). The approach rest mainly on the differential transform method (DTM) which is one of the approximate methods. The DTM is a powerful and efficient technique for finding solutions of nonlinear equations without the need of a linearization process. Utilizing this approach, the optimal co...
متن کاملA Stable Method for Fluid-Structure Interaction Problems
Abstract This paper presents a stabilized finite element formulation for the incompressible NavierStokes equations, written in an arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian frame to model flow problems that involve moving and deforming meshes. The stabilized formulation is derived based on the varriational multiscale method proposed by Hughes [1], and employed in [2,3] to study advection dominated diffusion...
